WPS wins tender for historic Strijp-T in Eindhoven
After a careful selection process, we are proud to announce that WPS has been selected for a unique project at Strijp-T, the iconic former Philips site in Eindhoven. Commissioned by construction company Bouwonderneming Goevaers & Znn. B.V. and Geva Vastgoed, we will begin implementing a parking system for the entire parking complex at this location this summer.
About Strijp-T
Strijp-T is a former Philips site that still radiates innovation and technology. The impressive industrial buildings have been transformed into hubs for high-tech companies, startups, makers, and creative minds. Although Strijp-T is less well-known to the general public than Strijp-S, it plays a key role in the region’s technological ecosystem.
Bouwonderneming Goevaers & Znn. B.V. / Geva Vastgoed
The client, Bouwonderneming Goevaers & Znn and Geva Vastgoed, have been active in property development and management since 1996. They are known for their future-focused approach and their expertise in transforming industrial heritage into vibrant workplaces and meeting spaces. Their vision aligns perfectly with that of WPS: to provide smart and sustainable solutions that grow with the user.
Project scope
The parking complex will feature no fewer than six entrances and exits with paid parking, supported by ParkAdvance+ equipment. The entire solution runs in the cloud and will incorporate our applications: Business Parking, ValiD, WPS Pay, and reservations via Parkeerdeal.
Thanks to Business Parking, the many companies located at Strijp-T will be able to manage subscriptions and visitor registration themselves. No hassle, no intermediaries: everything arranged digitally, and of course with license plate recognition.
