Update Management Team WPS Netherlands & Group
WPS Netherlands have recently made some changes to its management team, and we would like to share the following update with you. As of 1 June, Volkert Kieft has taken on the role of Sales Manager. In this position, Volkert is responsible for the entire Sales Department. In addition to his role as department head, Volkert will also remain active as (Key) Account Manager for customers such as Q-Park and the Hospital segment. Volkert’s other accounts will be transferred to different team members. As head of department, Volkert is now part of the Management Team of WPS Netherlands and reports to Paul van den Boogaard, Managing Director of WPS Group.
In addition, Sven Zijlstra has been appointed Manager Projects from 1 June 2023. In this new role, Sven is responsible for the Project Office and leads the full team consisting of 10 employees. Sven is now also part of the Management Team of WPS Netherlands and reports directly to Paul van den Boogaard. As department head, Sven will represent the Projects Department within the Management Team of WPS Netherlands.
Besides these changes in the management team, we would also like to update you on recent developments within WPS. In May, we announced the acquisition of WPS by our new shareholder, CERTINA GROUP.
These new priorities and a new ownership structure have led to changes in the way WPS Group is managed. To create a more flexible and streamlined organisation, it was decided to make changes to the leadership team. From 1 June, Paul van den Boogaard, together with Behzat Beytur as Group Controller, will assume leadership of WPS Group.
We would like to thank Erik Stronk and Hendrik Pot, who left WPS Group in June after the transition and handover phase to the new shareholder. Erik and Hendrik successfully led us through the challenges of the pandemic and guided the sale process of the company to CERTINA GROUP. We wish both of them every success in their future careers.
With this renewed composition of the management team and the involvement of our new shareholder, we look confidently to the future of both WPS Netherlands and WPS Group. We are determined to continue to grow and provide our customers with the best service and solutions.
